How We Started
The SOJCFI was the brainchild of the members of the Singles Ministry of the Servants of Jesus Community (SOJC). Fifteen (15) community leaders and members founded it and received the Articles of Incorporation and Corporate By-Laws from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in July 30, 2002. Its first president is Edwin Valencia, who became the first Chairman of the Board the following year after the first election in March 2003, where they created the position in the Board of Trustees.
